The Reggie Bus

Two buses, both called Reggie

You have probably seen them about. Small, red, and usually full of dogs.

They do the school run, essentially — collecting dogs in the morning and dropping them home again. That is what they are for, and it is most of what they do.

If you have taken a photo of one, we would love to see it.

What they actually do

The daily run, and not much else

We have two identical buses. They collect dogs in the morning, bring them to the field and the doghouse, and take them home again at the end of the day. For most dogs that is the whole of their acquaintance with it — a warm, air-conditioned ride with their friends, twice a day.

Morning collection

The reason the buses exist. Local pick-ups, so the day works around your diary rather than the other way round.

Home again

Tired dogs, dropped back where they started. Everyone knows the routine, which is why it is calm.

The occasional vet trip

Now and then, when a dog needs to be somewhere and you cannot get away. Ask and we will see what is possible.

Being recognised

They are a local landmark, apparently. Tourists photograph them. We are not going to pretend we understand why, but we are not complaining.

Transport

We are not really a taxi service

Worth being straight about: we are not set up as a general animal transport business, and requests for it are rare. If you need a dog moved and we can help, we will say so honestly — but the buses are built around the daycare run rather than around hire.
